Home Means… The Eldorado Great Italian Festival

Ravioli, pasta, sauses and sweets… you will find all this and more at the 36th annual Eldorado Great Italian Festival!

I have good news and bad news when it comes to the Great Italian Fest.

  • The bad news: If you’ve never been you’re missing out!
  • The good news: It’s happening this weekend, so you can go and be Italian for a day!

This event is one that I LOVE for several reasons. One of them being, you get to eat copious amounts of wonderful food. You have not lived until you’ve tried the infamous mushroom ravioli dish served at the Eldorado! But it’s not just about the food. For me, it’s about embracing a part of my heritage and celebrating being Italian!

In the past I’ve grape stomped and been a pasta sauce judge. This year, I’m making a return to try and claim first place as a grape stomping champion. Don’t miss the mess on Sunday, October 8 at 11am!

If you’ve been to the event before, comment below what your favorite part is! And if you’re planning on going for the first time this weekend, tell us what you’re most excited for. We hope to see you there!
